The Western Sendai Bulldogs Cricket Club represents southern Miyagi and Sendai's Aoba ward's western area, Izumi and Taihaku wards.

The Sendai Cricket Club becomes Sendai Cricket. In representative games, we will still play as the Sendai Cricket Club, however, from
the 2011 season, in Intra-Prefecture matches, we will be playing as two separate teams, the Senseki Dolphins Cricket Club and the
Western Sendai Bulldogs Cricket Club, taking the idea the Sendai Cricket management had last year of making set teams a little further.
The atmosphere at these games will not change however, we will still be the same friendly group you are all accustomed too.
The two teams will now vie for the Dixon/Birchall Cup. The trophy was named in respect for Sendai Cricket's founders.
